eViolin in a nutshell
eViolin started as a Dutch initiative for interoperability between EV charging solutions in 2012, but soon opened up its scope to the rest of Europe. Its members jointly tackle complex issues related to EV charging such as standardisation, data exchange, legal and fiscal questions.
Together, we drive interoperability in Europe.
Organisational structure
eViolin brings its members together without interference from governmental organisations, consultants, original equipment manufacturers (OEM) or car makers. This allows us to focus on peer-to-peer cooperation aimed at streamlining the EV charging market.
Who does what?
- The eViolin board takes care of daily operations (supported by the officemanagement) and strategy, and recruits new members.
- Several working groups develop practical solutions to interoperability challenges for EV charging.
- At the operational meetings, members discuss and approve the proposals of the work groups.
- The general assemblies approves the organisation’s budget and the issues to be tackled.
