Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all company and personal data that eViolin processes from its members.

If you become a member of eViolin or provide company and/or personal data for other reasons, you expressly consent to the processing of this data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Responsible​

The person responsible for processing the data is:
eViolin, Zeemansstraat 11 in Rotterdam, Chamber of Commerce: 56442858.
The officer responsible for the membership administration is the secretary of the board and any organization appointed by the board to maintain the membership administration.

2. What data does eViolin process and for what purpose?

2.1. The following data will be processed in the context of your membership:

  • Company name
  • Contact details
  • Address details and postal address if applicable
  • Phone number(s), email address(es), website(s)

2.2 eViolin processes the data mentioned in sub 2.1 for the following purposes:

  • Your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will be used for contact regarding membership and any cancellation thereof, for providing the information you have requested or for processing the information received from you.
  • Your name, address, telephone number and email address will be used to send invitations and information about eViolin’s services and activities.
  • Your name and bank account number will be used to process membership fee payments.

2.3 Your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will be used for up to one year after the end of the agreement to inform you about developments at eViolin.

E-mail notifications
eViolin uses your name and e-mail address to send you its e-mail newsletter with information, activities, services and other interesting information about eViolin membership. Unsubscribing from these mailings is possible at any time.

3. Retention periods

eViolin processes and stores your data for the duration of your membership up to a maximum of one year after the end of this membership. The data will then be destroyed.

4. Right of access, deletion and questions complaints

4.1 You can submit a request to view, receive, change or delete your data via the eViolin membership administration. eViolin will process your request and inform you within one month of receipt.

4.2 If you wish to object to the (further) processing of your data as referred to in Article 2, you can also contact the membership administration.

4.3 If you have any complaints about the way in which eViolin processes your data or handles your requests, you can contact the data protection officer.

5. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be amended. Amendments will be announced via the website. We advise you to regularly review the Privacy Policy.
